Our Maasai Family is in the middle of a historical drought. Rainfall deficits during the recent March-April-May 2022 rainy season have been the most severe in at least the last 70 years in Kenya. The ongoing four-season drought has been the most extensive and persistent event since 1981. This exceptional drought, amplified by hot temperatures, has been devastating to livelihood and herds, crops, water availability, and household incomes. More than seven million livestock have died and millions of people face the threat of starvation. The impacts of the severe drought will intensify rapidly in the coming months due to extremely poor March-April-May rains. Our friends in the Empukani area are lining up at our health clinic because they need food. With your help we can continue to spread the Love of Christ by providing food and medicine through this devastating time. Thank you for your continued support, we couldn't do this without you! Please pray for our Maasai family and pray for Rain!!
