Hope Shamba Model Farm will be our first major attempt to learn and then teach our Maasai brothers and sisters to grow food for their families. The food from the farm will be sold to reinvest in multiplying gardens all over the area. We will be able to share the love of Jesus with Maasai people outside of the churches because everyone needs to eat.
Mission Maasai has secured property, drilled a water well, and equipped the well with a solar pump and water tower. The remaining costs to get started include land clearing, elephant-proof fencing around the water well and the farm, irrigation, tilling, and planting. We are excited to partner with you in making this dream a reality.
James 5:7-8: Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near.--
